PCS signs deal with Foundation on QP courses

Pharmaceutical Consultancy Services (PCS) and Foundation Training Course on Quality Management in Pharma and Biotech sign declaration of intent

The Foundation “Training Course on Quality Management in Pharma and Biotech”, responsible for the well-known Q-course, and PCS will join their expertise in a collaborative partnership.

The current course ”Quality Management in Pharma and Biotech” consists of four modules in which the students and upcoming QP’s receive solid basis to fulfill their essential role in the pharmaceutical industry. The modules cover topic such as:

  • Quality management and the role of de QP in the pharmaceutical industry and hospital pharmacy
  • Drug development
  • Sterile production
  • Production and safety of biotechnological products

As of January 1 2021, PCS will take over the organization and marketing of the current provider. PCS will support the Foundation in the further development of the modules, including modern training techniques. The Foundation selected PCS because of its proven quality, years of experience and focus on new learning methods. Together, the Foundation and PCS will introduce new modules and revise existing modules to provide modern training to modern QP and quality professionals.

With signing the declaration of intent, a modernization of the modules will be initiated. Among other things, ‘blended learning’ is introduced; a proven effective method of first online learning theory and then practicing by performing case studies. A modern study program requires accredited courses. PCS and the Foundation will investigate the possibilities. At the same time, they will start with further developing a new module for Senior Management in the pharmaceutical industry.

PCS and the Foundation express their mutual trust and are looking forward to a pleasant and productive collaboration!
